以下捲管螺是歷年在蝦廠撿的，大家都鑑定為: 螺溝捲管螺 Kuroshiodaphne saturata (Reeve, 1845)
我不知依據來源為何? 但今天我要大翻案。

我先把原始文獻調出來看看，第372頁，編號213物種

原始文獻的大意是這樣的：殼呈錐狀漸尖，下部略收縮，螺層密佈顆粒狀網紋，具凸起條紋；
水管溝較短；唇緣具細齒，末螺層具一條橫向條紋，呈深褐色，並被白色條紋分割成大塊不規則的方格。
產地：菲律賓
從這段文字看起有些符合，有些不符合，尤其這幾個字: 螺層密佈顆粒狀網紋，與上面蝦廠的標本都不同。
於是我心生懷疑，到網路找一些照片來比較一下(如下圖)，原來螺溝捲管螺全身都有網狀格紋的，
那我們在蝦廠撿的，頂多只有2隻勉強接近，其他就不像呀!

回頭再觀察蝦廠的捲管螺，其實可以分成兩類，重新排列後如下圖
第1類: 體層略圓，全身層格紋明顯，前面5層尤其明顯
第2類: 體層略平直，全身是橫紋，前3-4層偶而可以看到格紋，有些看不出來(也有可能是拍照時有水份，格紋拍不出來)

從形態來看，第2類絕對不是螺溝捲管螺，可以確定，而第1類雖然與螺溝捲管螺較為接近，
但原始文獻說螺溝捲管螺是生活在水深7噚的珊瑚砂(居明氏的描述)，顯然就是淺海品種，
而我們在蝦廠撿的，應該都是至少五、六十米以上甚至上百米，因此我認為第1類應該也不是。

很明顯，我們在蝦廠所撿的第2類就是: 上格捲管螺 Kuroshiodaphne supracancellata (Schepman, 1913)
而不是螺溝捲管螺，紅色箭頭指的就是上面4層網格狀無誤。
而第1類應該就是新種 Kuroshiodaphne Species nova，

是今年發表的新種。
