這顆蟹守螺花紋蠻特別的,黑白條紋相間,殼口邊緣略帶紫色,首次看到,在八斗子撿的,只有一顆.寶螺中,黑白條紋相間的叫做浮標寶螺,好聽又好記,如果這一顆目前還沒有中文名稱,把牠取成浮標蟹守螺應該蠻貼切的吧!

找到了,是 Cerithium torresi Smith, 1884 (查不到中文名稱).本種在八斗子 望幽谷附近是優勢種類,潮線上可發現數量龐大的死殼.上圖標本是色變,目前只撿到一枚.
