站長,這顆貝殼在貝友N.13,P.29已有名稱:彩鍊捲管螺
可能因為年代久遠,其學名與站長所查到的不同(連屬名都不同).本種殼表的褐斑極富變化,常造成鑑定上的困擾.

我推測當年貝友13所鑑定的學名可能有誤，至於中文名倒是可以沿用，沒問題。

彩鍊捲管螺盛產於桃園藻礁海岸,認真採集一次可以收穫上百顆,可惜多屬陳年舊殼,品相完美者一殼難求.

Poppe這張(上圖)我是愈看愈感到奇怪，放在Lienardia這個屬，卻完全不搭，
於是我去查Lienardia planilabrum的原始文獻(如下圖)，與上圖實在差太多了，而且與文字描述也不一樣
Shell fusiform, acuminated
at both ends, very smooth, whorls depressed round
the upper part, longitudinally ribbed; lip flattened,
slightly angulated above; ashy purple, zoned with
white.
怎麼看，兩者都不像，我覺得還有待研究及比對。

現在懂了，原來 Laemodonta bella (H. Adams & A. Adams, 1855)與 Plecotrema souverbiei Montrouzier, 1862 都是指美麗小耳螺，
但前者在發表時間在先，所以後者變成無效

這不是波紋蜑螺 Smaragdia pulcherrima (Angas, 1871)
而是: 巴吉蜑螺 Smaragdia patburkeae Eichhorst, 2016
有些人會把 Smaragdia patburkeae Eichhorst, 2016 稱為閃電蜑螺
其實這是另一種錯誤所造成，原因是這種蜑螺早期被誤認為是: Smaragdia paulucciana (Gassies, 1870)
然而，Smaragdia paulucciana 後來被證明是無效學名，
它其實是一種石蜑螺: Clithon parvulum (Le Guillou, 1841) 的同物異名
而這種石蜑螺相當小，比小石蜑螺還要小，我本來想要取名為: 微石蜑螺，
不過看過英國自然史博物館的標本(如下圖)，其實維持閃電蜑螺這個名稱並無不妥。
